Taking advantage of our department’s emphasis on field investigation, I did a lot of work on site investigation in my undergraduate studies. From 2004 to 2006, we investigated more than 10 typical geological features in Chongqing area (major fault, layered slope structure, nature cave, etc), from which I recognized that how hard of geological work and what serious consequence of geological disasters. Since then I have been thinking of how can I do something to efficiently assure security of people's life and property. In 2006, I was employed in the science and energy Technical School of Chongqing as a teaching staff and the course name is ‘Introduction to Mining’. Since then, I participated in 4 projects conducted by a team consisted mainly of doctoral students. These projects and the part-time teaching work benefited me more self-confidence, experience and a wide horizon.
